Dennis Huskey

Dennis Wayne Huskey, 60, of North Little Rock, lost his courageous 18 year battle with cancer Monday Sept. 23, 2013, at Lakewood Nursing Home in North Little Rock, Ark. He was born in Camden, AR on June 29th, 1953 and graduated from Camden High School. He attended Harding College and graduated from Southern Arkansas University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Dennis was very proud of his degree which enabled him to be proficient and excel in his career working with computers. Dennis was a loving and devoted son, father & brother; he is preceded in death by his father, Hesterly Huskey. Survivors include his mother ,Imogene Turner of North Little Rock (formerly of Camden, Ark.) and his children, Brooke McGee (Randy) of Texarkana, Texas, Allyssa Huskey of Traskwood, Ark. and Ryan Huskey of Traskwood, Ark. Other survivors include his grandsons, Samuel King & Turner McGee of Texarkana, Texas; his sister, Brenda Ziegenfelder (Kenny) of Sherwood, Ark. and nephew, Jeff Morris (Beth) of Benton, Ark. and great-nephew, Brayden Morris of Benton, Ark. He was a member of The Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Special thanks to Arkansas Hospice and to the entire staff of Lakewood Nursing Home in North Little Rock for the care and comfort they provided Dennis and his family.
