Susan Henry Massey

Susan Henry Massey, age 83, died Friday, September 20th in Raleigh, N.C. She was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon O "Pat" Massey; her parents, James Robert and Dora Ligon Henry, and her brothers, James Robert Henry, Jr. and George Richard Henry. Sue was born in Hope, Ark., grew up in Dallas, Texas, and lived in Albemarle, N.C. until recently. She was an active member of her community, serving on numerous local and state human services boards. Sue is survived by her son, Mike Massey of Albemarle, N.C.; daughter, Marlyn Wells of Raleigh, N.C.; grandchildren, Caitlin and Anna Wells of Raleigh, N.C., and Patrick and Ryan Massey of Albemarle, N.C.; sister, Virginia Henry Nutter of Conway, Ark., and numerous beloved in-laws and outlaws. The funeral service will take place in Morrilton, Ark. at a later date.
