Mildred V. (Ross) Smith

Mildred V. (Ross) Smith, 79, daughter of the late Adda Ross passed away Monday, September 23. Mrs. Smith was married to the late John H. Smith. She was a member of Union Valley Missionary Baptist Church and a long time employee of Lonoke Primary School. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Rev. Jack Marshall, Clarence Long, Charles Long, Charlie Long; one sister, Maxine Armstrong; and three sons, Larry Smith, Willie Smith and William Sells. Mildred is survived by sons, Clarence, Carroll, Robert and Jimmy Smith and daughters, Emma L. (Larry) Cole and Evelyn Reynolds all of Lonoke; 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Viewing for Mrs. Smith will be from 3-6 p.m. Friday September 27, 2013 at Colonial Southern Services, Carlisle. Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2013 with the funeral following at 1 p.m., at New Jerusalem COGIC, Lonoke. Colonial Southern Services, 216 Court Street, Carlisle, Ark.
