Ola Merle Russell

Ola Merle Russell, age 92, of Alexander passed away Wednesday September 25, 2013. She was born August 26, 1921 in Dallas County. Ola was a retired Nurse and a member of Benton First Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gaston and Dessie Rucker Eubanks, husband, John H. Russell, and a son, John S. Russell, two brothers and three sisters. Survivors, son, Michael Russell, sister, Jane Gill, five grandchildren, Jason Russell, Brent Russell, Brian Russell, Rodney Russell and Jeremy Russell, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ashby's. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Forest Hills Cemetery.
