ALICE LORRAINE BOWDEN, 100, of Little Rock, passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013. She was born in Russellville, Ark. on March 30, 1913 to Emory Otis Bowden and Ethel Lee Bowden. She grew up in Fort Smith, Ark. and moved to San Francisco, Calif. to work as a dental assistant for Lettermans Army Medical Center. She enjoyed traveling, entertaining friends, and volunteering. Following retirement, she returned to Arkansas where she was active in her community through service for the Arkansas Arts Center and voter registration. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leon Bowden; sister, Margaret Carlene Pearce; and niece, Sandra Kay Latture. Survivors include a niece, Jennifer Ann Moore and her husband, Ken Moore; great nephews, Taylor Pearce Johnson, Paul Latture III, and Brian Latture and his wife, Allison Latture; and great-great nieces Abby Latture and Claudia Latture. Special thanks to the staff and her caregivers at Presbyterian Village for the excellent care and special attention. The family greatly appreciates all you did.
