Ralph R. Floyd

Ralph R. Floyd, 92, of Ulm, passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2013, at Crestpark in Stuttgart. Mr. Floyd was born Aug. 10, 1921, in Jamestown, Ark., to Oscar Doris Floyd and Addie Brittain Ballard Floyd. He was an Air Force veteran serving during World War II, a farmer and member of Zion Lutheran Church. His hobbies included bird hunting – especially quail, and ducking hunting. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Marie Warner Floyd; one sister; and four brothers. Survivors are his son, Bobby Ray Floyd of Ulm; two daughters, Judy Harrison of Ulm and Ruth Ann Stallings of Hazen; and three grandsons, Denis Wayne Eagle of Stuttgart and Robert Ray Floyd and Jacob Lafayette of Ulm. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Johnny Graham, are 10 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church with burial following in Ulm Cemetery. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Turpin Funeral Home.
