Mary Ruth Wooley

Mary Ruth Wooley, 93, of Van Buren, Ark. passed Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was a resident of Hope's Creek Retirement Center and a member of First Baptist Church in Alma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrelton Wooley; three sisters and three brothers. Service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013 at the Ocker of Alma  Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bob Shelton and Reverend Mike Franklin officiating, with burial at the Shady Grove Cemetery in Clarendon, Ark. at 3 p.m. under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home in Alma, Ark. She is survived by her son, Jerry Wooley and wife, Sue of Lansing, Kan.; her daughter, Vicki Lambert and husband, Charles of Rudy; grandchildren, Brian Wooley and wife, Lisa of Columbia, Ill., Bruce Wooley and wife, Kelly of Pittsfield, Mass., Sean Wooley of Lansing, Kan., Holly Parker of Alma and Casey Lambert of Prescott, Ark.; great-grandchildren, Sean Wooley II of Lansing, Kan., Katelyn Wooley of Pittsfield, Mass., Kimberlyn Utter and husband, Michael of Leavenworth, Kan., Judson and Jayden Parker, and Adelin Lambert all of Alma; one great-great-granddaughter, Maddison Utter of Leavenworth, Kan.  Pallbearers are Brian Wooley, Bruce Wooley, Sean Wooley, Sean Wooley II, Marvin Lindley, and Terry Dean. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Osborne, Rick Douglas and Wesley Warnock. The family will visit with friends and relatives Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Ocker of Alma Funeral Home, 917 Hwy 64 East, Alma, Ark.
