Shelton Anthony Payne

Shelton Anthony Payne, 71, passed away on April 1, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. He was born June 13, 1942 in Camden. Shelton attended Fairview High School. He was known as an outstanding athlete and friend to many dear classmates. He was a member of the National Guard. He worked for Bearden Butane, then lived in Baytown, Texas, Hot Springs and Camden. He was a member of Unity Missionary. Preceded in death by his son, Michael Payne, parents, Imogene Sanders Reed and Fleetwood "Shorty" Reed, brother, Durwood Reed and father, Henry Anthony Payne. Survived by daughter, Laura Tuberville (Kevin Tuberville), granddaughters, Alaina and Ashlyn Tuberville of Mountain Home, Ark., grandson, Walter Payne of Bossier City, La., brothers, Dicky Reed (Clea Reed) of Austin, Texas and Terry Reed of Sealy, Texas, sister, Brenda Ponzio (Benny Ponzio) of Bryan, Texas, also many loved nephews, nieces and cousins.
