Bettye Lee Gill

Bettye Lee (Rogers) Gill, age 84, of Tulip, Arkansas passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014. She was born May 17, 1929 in Carthage, Arkansas the daughter of the late Alver Claude Rogers and Mary Lee (Williams) Rogers. Mrs. Gill was a member of Tulip Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Gill is survived by her loving daughters, Dorris DeAnn Parsons of Tulip, Arkansas, Marcia Jeanette Davis and her husband Bob of Odessa, Texas and Darla Kay McAlister and her husband Randy of Grandfalls, Texas; grandchildren, Kim Guzman, Kristy Tholin, Heather Crawford, Travis Wayne Miller, Shonna Kay Miller and Stacey A. Vaques; nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by a host of other family and friends that will miss her dearly. Visitation will be 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Buie Funeral Home in Sheridan, Arkansas. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Tulip Memorial Baptist Church with Brother Phil Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at Tulip Cemetery in Tulip, Arkansas.
