Elva Jean Davis

Elva Jean Davis, 85, of Searcy, died Thursday, April 10, 2014. She was born January 5, 1929 in Floyd, Arkansas, the daughter of Henry and Dovie Elaine Cook. Elva is survived by her husband, Faborn Davis; two sons, Danny Joe Davis and Kyle Davis and his wife Tracy; three daughters, Glenna Spence and her husband Jerry, Judy McCormick and her husband Joe, and Carolyn Jones and her husband David; two sisters, Janice Mosley and Emma Taylor; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Burnice, Dillard, Harold and Farrell; and two sisters, Evelyn and Joy. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Revival Church in Searcy. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the church.
