Helen Irene Dougan Lucas

Helen Irene Dougan Lucas, 93, of Overland Park, Kan., went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2014. Helen was born Aug. 25, 1920 in Traskwood, Ark. to the late David Arthur and Mary Alice Dougan. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Robert Lucas; her four brothers, Gleason, Coy, Milburn, and Eugene Dougan; and her two sisters, Cloy Johnson and Una Davis. Loving memories are left to her children, Mary Frances Cole-Ask (Douglas) of Sherwood, Ark., Joseph P. Wibberding (Diana) of Stilwell, Kan., and Elizabeth Barry of Shawnee, Kan.; her many beloved grandchildren, Mike, Mark, Darren, Kim, Zachary, and Tracy; and 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 14, 10 a.m., at Maple Hill Cemetery, 2301 S. 34th, Kansas City, Kan.
