Lester Fay Strickland

Lester Fay Strickland, age 76, of Hot Springs, passed away April 13, 2014. Fay was born February 20, 1938 in Hampton, Ark. He lived in West Helena, working at Mohawk, AP&L, then retiring in Hot Springs. Fay loved his family, the outdoors and the Razorbacks. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Ollie Bowen Strickland; his wife, Patsy Strickland; his sister, Louise Hollingsworth; and son, Mike Strickland. He is survived by his brother, Carlton Strickland; his children: Iris (Tom) Lowder; Margaret "Sissy" (Richard) Tolbert; Tom (Anita) Strickland; Bill Strickland; and their mother, Mary Ann Strickland; his step-children, Doris Lee Wilson; Debbie (Rusty) Peck; Layne (Brian) Casey; and Bob (Renee) Wilson; 15 grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Visitation: Thursday April 17th at 12 pm followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. at Gross Funeral Home in Hot Springs. Graveside services: Friday, April 18th at 11 a.m. at Means Cemetery, Hampton.
