Larry Dean Hester

Larry Dean Hester, 72, died Sunday, April 13, 2014. He was born September 27, 1941 in Corning to the late Carrel and Irene Cole Hester. Mr. Hester was a retired communications engineer and a retired US Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife, Linda Hester; sister, Carolyn McKinley of Jonesboro; brothers, Dewayne Hester of Garland, Texas and Carrel Hester of Davenport, Iowa. He was preceded in death by brothers, Arthur Bud Hester and Shirrell Hester; sister, Dortha Turner. Visitation will be Thursday, 6-8 p.m. Services, with full military honors, will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 12 noon at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
