Paul S. Shively Jr., 91 of Hot Springs passed away April 10, 2014. He was born December 2, 1922 in Pittsburg, Pa. to the late Paul S. Shively, Sr. and Margaret Robertson Shively. Mr. Shively was a retired CW04 U.S. Marine, serving in WW II and the Korean Conflict. He also retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after thirty eight years as a Supervisor. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, a member of the Shrine Oriental Band, and a Mason. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy E. Shively and one brother, Harry Shively. Survivors include one daughter, Susan Walker of Texarkana, Texas; one grandson, Justin Bailey and wife Stephanie of Hot Springs; and two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brody Bailey, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) in Benton. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Ark. Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Bailey, Travis Herman, Mike Phillips and Eddie Cassaday.
