Marie B. Collins

Marie B. Collins, 90, of Bryant, Arkansas took her last breath on earth and her next breath in heaven Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Marie retired from Baptist Medical Center following many years of service as a surgical nurse. Unlike most people, she had two green thumbs. Forever 39, she especially enjoyed ballroom dancing until she could only dance in her heart. She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, George E. Collins Sr.; one daughter, Susan Collins Smith; and one son, James Edward Collins. Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Davidson and husband Bob; one son, George E. Collins, Jr. and wife M'Liss; and; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Charlotte Halter and Gloria Urhine. Rosary at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 21, 2014 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Benton, Ark. where Marie was a 50+ year member. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. A special thank you to Foxridge Retirement Center of Bryant and Hospice Home Care of Little Rock for their special care and kindness.
