Virginia Nelson Cox

VIRGINIA NELSON COX, 75, of North Little Rock passed away April 17, 2014 at her home. She was born April 8, 1939 in Pine Bluff, Ark. She retired from the Arkansas Division of Volunteerism after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayland B. Cox Sr.; and son, Patrick L. Cox. She is survived by one daughter, Teresa L. Hulbert (Joe) of Las Vegas, Nev.; son; Wayland B. Cox Jr. (Rhonda) of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Rubye McClain of North Little Rock and Mary Romine (Aden) of Little Rock; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
