Eddie Lee Baugh, 67, of Jefferson passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 at John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock. Born December 1, 1946, in Redfield, Arkansas, he was a son of the late Franklin Pierce and Della Faye Shoptaw Baugh. He was reared and received his early education in Redfield and graduated from White Hall High School. He also attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Mr. Baugh served in the United States Army in the 1st Infantry Division during the Vietnam War. He worked as an equipment mechanic at the Pine Bluff Arsenal for over twenty-five years, retiring in 2003. Mr. Baugh was one of the original founders of the Redfield Athletic Association and involved in sports at Redfield for many years. He always had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed working daily crossword puzzles. He was a Southern Baptist and a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include his loving wife of over 27 years, Patricia Ann Baugh, of Jefferson; his sons, Michael Baugh, and wife, Megan, of Jefferson, Kevin Baugh, of Redfield, and Toby Drye, of Hot Springs; his grandchildren, Brittany Drye, Paige Drye, John Jacob, Harley Cockrell and Bristol Baugh; his brother, Franklin Baugh, of Cabot; and his sister, Dona Stewart, of Redfield. Services will be 11:00AM, Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Bill Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery at Yorktown by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends at 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at Robinson's.
