Clinton Thurlo Turnage II, 76, of North Little Rock passed away April 21, 2014. Clint served in the United States Navy. He worked for Westinghouse/Philips Lighting for 32 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton Thurlo Turnage and Lula Swain; sister, Laura Eans. He is survived by his wife, Linda Turnage; daughter, Cindy Stuckey (Chris) of Bryant; sons, Johnny Pertuis (Kim) of Wye Mountain, David Turnage (Staci) of Rockledge, Florida, Clinton Turnage, III (Amber) of Conway and Leon Turnage (Imane) of North Little Rock; brother, Ernest Turnage of Plymouth, Ind.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; special sister-in-law, Linda Rogers of Sherwood; nephews, Dwayne Rogers of Austin and Mark Rogers of Sherwood. Clint was a great wood carver. He was the neighborhood handy man. If anyone had a problem with anything they knew to call on Clint. Lots and lots of people loved him dearly. He had a trying past year with his health problems, but he fought the big fight and he's finished the race and he's gone home to his Father in Heaven. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
