Derotha Lacefield Hutsell

Derotha Lacefield Hutsell, 84, was born to Homer and Stella Freeman Lacefield on January 11, 1930 in Alicia, Arkansas and passed away on April 21, 2014 in Searcy, Arkansas. Mrs. Hutsell was retired from sales at JC Penny's and she was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church in Searcy for over 50 years. She was a Breast Cancer Survivor for over 40 years. She was instrumental in starting the Reach to Recovery Program, counseling with cancer individuals. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Lloyd Clay Hutsell, her parents, two brothers, Herman Lacefield, Lee Lacefield and his wife Vida. She is survived by two sons, Michael Clay Hutsell (Dianne) of Searcy, Dwain Andrew Hutsell(Cindy) of Conway, four grandchildren, Matthew Hutsell (Angela) of Little Rock, Elizabeth Davis (Brian) of Conway, Joseph Hutsell of Conway, Allison King (Steven) of Memphis, five great-grandchildren, Bella, Kate, Will, Hannah, and Hazel, three sisters, Zola Berry (Jay), Floy Crapo (Dewey), Nova Lacefield (Rick Rivenbark), other relatives, and many friends. Visitation will be Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Park Avenue Baptist Church. Funeral Services will begin at 2 PM. Burial will follow at White County Memorial Gardens in Searcy.
