Frank A. Aiello passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014. He was born in Memphis, Tenn., on September 6, 1917 and was one of nine children born to parents Frank A. and Mary Aiello. Frank was a charter member of the Park Hill Christian Church established in 1949. He was a faithful husband to Fay Winningham Aiello for 53 years. Frank was a 32nd degree Mason with the Crescent Masonic Lodge and the Scimitar Shrine Temple for over 50 years and also a member of the Elks Lodge, American Legion and the Christian Men's Fellowship. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Frank was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. Frank also loved to sing and was a great cook. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife and daughter, Jeannine Hooper, son-in-law, Joseph Leon Hooper, son, Robert Allen and daughter-in-law, Edna Allen. He is survived by his sister, Constance Patterson, daughter, Mary Patricia Knight, son, Eugene B. Allen, grandchildren, Tena & Rick Long, LeJeana & Bill Grant, Mary Carmen Cantabrana, Rick Allen, Tina Blankenship and Edna Rose Johnson; 16 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren with another one on the way. A visitation will be held Thursday, April 24th at 1 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Ark. Internment immediately following in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
