Meta Calvert Mills

Meta Calvert Mills age 90, of Warren, Ark. died Thursday, April 24th, 2014 at Chapel Woods Nursing Home. She was born January 29th 1924 in Warren, Ark. a daughter of the late Louie Calvert and Lela Amelia Gossien Calvert. In her early years she worked for the Pentagon during World War II, was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Primitive Baptist Church. Also preceding her in death was her husband Fred A. Mills whom she married December 4th 1948 and he died October 13th, 2000; two brothers, Edward Calvert, Harrell Calvert and a sister, Sibyl Haynes. Survivors include a son, Bruce Mills, Little Rock, Ark. and a daughter, Bonnie Vasquez of Florida; two brothers, Delbert Calvert and Howard Calvert both of Warren, Ark.; two sisters, Jean Briant, Warren, Ark. and Jerry Neely and spouse Jay, Rison, Ark.; four grandchildren. Funeral Services 10 a.m., Saturday, April 26th at Frazer's Chapel. Burial in Garrison Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 6 p.m. till 8 p.m. Friday, April 25th at Frazer's Funeral Home.
