Ronnie Gene Edwards

Ronnie Gene Edwards, 60, of Mayflower passed away April 26, 2014. He was born Oct. 12, 1953, to the late Alfred and Hazel Edwards. Ronnie retired from ABF after many years of faithful service. He was an avid fisherman as well as a loving father, grandfather, brother, companion, and friend. He is survived by his life-long special friend, Dollie Davis; the mother of his children, Anita Edwards; daughter, Natasha Edwards Rodarte of Mayflower; grandchildren, Nathaniel Welling, Soledad Rodarte, Hilario Rodarte, and Isaiah Rodarte; four sisters, Bettye Campbell of Marietta, Georgia, Patricia McPherson of Mayflower, Debbie Henson of Greenwood, Ark., Shalla Pack of Nashville, Ark.; three brothers, Weldon Edwards, Bobby Edwards both of Mayflower, Thomas Edwards of West Monroe; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at the First Baptist Church, Mayflower. Burial will follow at the Mayflower Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior at the church.
