Donald Glen Temple, 55, of Bryant, Ark., died in a truck accident on Thursday, July 31, 2014. He was born on Dec. 25, 1958 in Laredo, Texas, to Elmore Temple and the late Linda Temple. A truck driver for Con-Way Freight for many years, he was better known as "Arkansas Hurricane" to all his driving family. Don enjoyed working on cars and trucks and watching sci-fi movies. A member of Eagle Point Church of God, he was a family man who treasured the time he spent with his family and spent his life making a home for his wife and children. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of over 30 years, Dana; his children, Stacey Temple, Ellianne Barbour and her husband John, Don Allen Temple and Sam Temple; his father, Elmore; his twin brother, Ron; his two sisters, Nancy Hurley and her husband Jim, and Martha Finney and her husband Greg; a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws and extended family and friends, all who will miss him dearly. Family visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4 at Forest Hills Funeral Home. A Celebration of Don's life will be held at Eagle Point Church of God at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5 with Pastor Jerry Riddle and Tony Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ray Sebren, Tony Ellis, Allen Hurst, Jerry Davis, John Barbour, Jim Hurley, Stacey Temple, Sam Temple, Ellie Temple and Don Allen Temple. Honorary Pallbearers will be all his drivers and friends from Con-Way Freight, Inc. Memorials may be made to the Eagle Point Church of God. Online guest register at www.griffinleggett.com.
