Joe Bailey Short Sr.

JOE BAILEY SHORT SR. 75, of Jacksonville Ark., passed away on Aug. 7, 2014 at UAMS, surrounded by his family. Joe was born to the late Ernie and Arris Short of Hot Springs. He is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 54 years, Geneva Sue Short; three wonderful sons, Danny (Jamie) Short of Clarksville, Myron (Diane) Short of Jacksonville, Joe (Jannet) Short Jr. of Redfield; brother, Gary Dale (Janet) of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Holly, Beau Jack, Kyle, Luke, Kelsey, and Marley; four great-grandchildren, Maddy, Jacob, America, and Averee Belle; many nieces and nephews. Joe loved his family very much. Visitation will be Sunday Aug. 10, 2014 at Arkansas Funeral Care in Jacksonville from 5-7 p.m. Graveside service will be held on Monday Aug. 11, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Avery Cemetery in Hot Springs.
