he family of Rose Jean Voss thanks you for honoring her memory. Rose Jean, 82 years old, passed to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 10, 2014 while visiting her daughter in Austin, Texas. Rose Jean Voss, known as Jean, was born March 30, 1932 in Perry County, Arkansas where she lived until her teenage years when she went to work in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jean worked as a successful and keen business woman and realtor in Little Rock. After retirement she moved to Conway, Arkansas where she was active in her community, loving the involvement and people related to real estate. She was past president of her homeowners association and enjoyed all activities leading the association, landscaping, and bettering the community. She was an ardent exerciser, always rising early to swim, walk, yoga, or enjoy being outside. She worshiped the Lord and enjoyed her church and Bible studies. Rose Jean loved her family dearly. She was a wonderful Mother above all else she accomplished. Rose Jean is survived by her loving children, Michael David Voss and the late Marijean Oliver Voss of Mayflower, Arkansas; Pamela Rose Voss of Austin, Texas; and Herman Paul Voss and wife Brenda of Fall Branch, Tennessee. Her grandchildren, Michael Douglas Voss and wife Lee Ann of Greenbrier, Arkansas; and Herman Kenneth Dane Voss of Murphreesboro, Tennessee. She dearly enjoyed her two great-grandchildren, Mason Voss and Preston Voss. She is also survived by her sisters Bobby McIntyre of Perryville, Arkansas who spent many hours by her side during the illness and Jeri Lynn Sherrill of Clinton, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Odas and Maudie Montgomery, brother, Alton Montgomery, and sister, Patricia Jones. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or other charity of choice. A memorial and burial for Rose Jean will be held at Harmony Baptist Church, 3195 Highway 10 E., Perryville, Arkansas at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014.
