Jessie A. Langston

Jessie A. Langston, age 94, of Little Rock, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014. She was born in Conahatta, Miss. of parents Floyd and Freeda Woolf. She had a career as an elementary school teacher of almost 40 years serving in the Bigelow, Vilonia, Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Crowley, La., and Little Rock school districts. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Paul and his wife Mary of Hot Springs Village and Mark and his wife Ann of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Chris of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Pete of Jefferson City, Mo., Alyssa of Springdale, and Sam of Little Rock; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 10 am, Saturday at Pine Crest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock, 661-9111.
