Lewis Warren Brown

Mr. Lewis Warren Brown, age 68, of Little Rock, Ark., died August 14, 2014. Mr. Brown was born in Griffin, Spalding County, Georgia on August 9, 1946 to the late Thomas and Inez Gooden Brown. Mr. Brown spent his young life in Griffin, Ga. He spent 45 years in the electric industry, 32 of those at OG &E and 13 years at SPP. He loved his job and all the great people he worked with. He served in the Vietnam War, in the Navy, aboard the USS Kitty Hawk VA-37. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother; Thomas Frank Brown. Survivors include his wife, Susan Brown; his son, Brian G. Brown of North Little Rock; his daughter; Sheri Tuck of Farmington, Ark., his step-son, Josh Smith of Portland, Maine, two sisters; Rachel E. Barfield of Griffin, Ga., and Mrytle Floyd of Griffin, Ga.; grandsons; Kelton Knipmeyer, Aiden Smith and extended family. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, August 16, 2014 in the Chapel of Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211 (501) 224-8300, with burial to follow at 2 p.m., at Rose Hill Cemetery in Beirne, Arkansas.
