William Dale Bolin, 73, of Crossett, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014 at his home. He was born on July 27, 1941 in Milo, Arkansas to Irma A. Sawyer Bolin and W.M. "Doc" Bolin. He is preceded in death by his father W.M. "Doc" Bolin; sister-in-law, Betty Bolin; and brother-in-law, Bobby Ray. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Annette "Ann" Pennington Bolin; daughter, Lana Paige Bolin with husband Bryan of Crossett; grandson, Dax Colbie Bolin and wife Katie of Crossett; mother, Irma A. Bolin of Crossett; two brothers, Jerry G. Bolin and wife Virginia of Morrilton, and Johnnie M. Bolin of Crossett; two sisters, Judy Ray of Crossett, and Kitty Storset and husband Karman of Port Orchard, Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Dale was a member of Cloverdale Assembly of God Church where he served as a member of the board for many years. He was active in the affairs of the church as Sunday School Supt. and Sunday School Teacher among other things as directed by the church. Dale's love of the Lord and his church was demonstrated by his unswerving faith and steadfast support of the ministry with generous commitments of time and resources. Dale retired from Georgia Pacific Corp. as Tissue Mill Superintendent on January 23, 2003. He also retired from Albany International where he worked as an Application Specialist, a position in which he gained industry wide acclaim as one of the best in tissue manufacturing. He traveled most of the U.S. and some foreign countries working with various producers to advance the art of papermaking which he loved as a profession. A Celebration of Life service will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20 at Cloverdale Assembly of God Church, 132 Ashley Rd 15 in Crossett with Bro. John Martin officiating, followed by an interment at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Medders Funeral Home of Crossett. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m., Tuesday, August 19 also at Cloverdale Assembly of God Church.
