Glen I. Lindas, 80, of Little Rock, passed away on August 20, 2014 of leukemia and began his new eternal life in Heaven. Born in Omaha, Nebraska on November 24, 1933, Glen is survived by his wife of 58 years, Tommy Ruth; his son, Michael and wife, Charlie; his son, Kenneth and wife, Jung; his two granddaughters, Kate and Julie, and his two great-grandchildren, Keaton and Leah. Glen was a 27 year veteran of the U.S.A.F. and was one of the initial groups that were assigned to LRAFB in 1955 His Air Force career included assignments to thirteen states and three foreign countries. Following his Air Force career he was a customer service engineer for 20 years, nine years as a computer tech with Harris Corporation and eleven years as a service technician with Alcon Labs. After retirement, he served the Little Rock National Airport as a volunteer in the "Airport Angels" program and won several awards for his excellent service. Services will be Saturday, August 23 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church Sanctuary, officiated by Rev. David Moore. Burial with full Military Honors will be private.
