Margie La Faye Wagnon, 83, of Stephens died on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. She was born October 2, 1930 in Calhoun County, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Doyle Harley and Glenora Powell Harley, and by her sons, Doni Wagnon and Ricky Wagnon. Margie retired in April 2013 after a career in print and radio journalism, government and community service. She was an accomplished artist and an active member of her church. Survivors include son, Ted and wife, Karen of Little Rock; sisters, Jean Walker of El Dorado and Murlene Sampson and husband, Bob of Camden; granddaughters, Amy Wike and husband, Patrick of Springdale, and Carissa Godwin and husband, Jason of North Little Rock; grandson, Jody McDonnell and wife, Cari of Austin, Texas; great-grandchildren, Sam Wike, Max Wike and Ruby McDonnell; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews; and a community of friends. Visitation is 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 22, at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, with graveside services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Stephens Cemetery in Stephens.
