Jo Carol Harris

Jo Carol Harris, age 81, of Benton passed away August 20, 2014. She was born August 13, 1933 in Haskell, Arkansas. Jo Carol graduated from Harmony Grove High School and went on to graduate from the St. Vincent School of Nursing in Little Rock after which she worked as an RN for the State Hospital in Little Rock. She was a member of North Side Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ord and Mildred Mitchell, husband Virgil Clifton Harris and a son, Gregory Lynn Harris. Survivors, son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sharon Harris, Benton; daughter, Cheryl Huddleston, brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Ord Jehu Mitchell and wife Janie, Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister and brother-in-law, Judy Johnson and husband Mike, Doyline, Louisiana; grandson, Kevin Huddleston and wife Alisha, great-granddaughter, Kinley Huddleston. Family gives a special thanks to Saline Memorial Hospital, ICU, ER, 4th and 5th floors and to Saline Memorial Hospice at Bryant. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Saline Memorial Hospice, Bryant, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ashby's.
