Sylvester Brannon

Rev. Sylvester Brannon, 90, of Beebe, Arkansas, formerly of Lepanto, Arkansas, went to meet Jesus and his wife Tuesday, August 19, 2014. He served in the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division. He was an Assembly of God Minister for forty-seven years and pastored the First Assembly of God in Lepanto for thirty years. Rev. Brannon is survived by two daughters, Shirel Renneker and husband Stanley of Beebe and Ann Davis and husband Jim of Maumelle; his son, Garry D. Brannon and wife Ruth of Stephenville, Texas; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Coleman Osburn of Appleton, Washington and Dave Osburn of Grants Pass, Oregon; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Brannon and Cora Brannon Osburn; his wife, Erma Neal Passmore Brannon; two sisters, Mayola Story and Juanita Faucett; and three brothers, Henry Brannon, Bonnie Brannon and Dan Osburn. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 2014, at Smith–Westbrook Funeral Home in Beebe. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Potters Cemetery in Lepanto.
