Lorene Altom

Lorene Altom went to be with the Lord Saturday, Aug. 23. She passed away at the age of 86 at her home in Drasco. The widow of Truman Altom, Lorene was a member of Pleasant Ridge Union Church. She is survived by children, LaVerta Yates (Oliver), Luna Gay (Dwain), James Odell Altom (Kathy), Donnie Altom (Sandy) and Billy Wayne Altom (Anita); sister Nelda Bailey; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; four step-great-great-grandchildren; among other relatives and friends. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Olmstead Funeral Home and the funeral service is at 10 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Ridge Union Church. Interment will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
