Johnnie Roberts

Johnnie Roberts, 83, of Hot Springs, Ark., formerly of Murfreesboro Ark., passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 in Hot Springs. He was born on May 29, 1931 in Little Rock, Ark., the son of the late Jordon Roberts and Willie (Copeland) Roberts Billingsley. He was a member of the Pleasant Home Church of Christ in Murfreesboro and a US Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, J.L. Roberts, Jr.; and two sisters, Charlene Henry and Evelyn Jackson. Survivors include one brother, Lawrence Roberts of Hot Springs Village, AR; one sister, Marge Moran of Springdale, AR; and ten nieces and nephews. A host of other relatives and friends mourn his passing. Services will be on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Home Church of Christ in Murfreesboro with Brother Wallace Alexander officiating. Burial to follow in Pleasant Home Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home, Murfreesboro. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the chapel at Murfreesboro.
