Larry Powell

Larry F. Powell, 65, of Sherwood was born August 15th, 1949 and passed away on Monday, August 25th, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Marie Powell for 26 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Leslie Davis (Richard), and his son, Joey Powell (Megan), both of Little Rock. Other survivors include his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his four-legged son, Rocky. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Dessie Powell, and his sister, Pamela Walls. He served his country in the Army and could fix anything he laid his hands on. His favorite days were spent fishing and cooking out with his family and friends. He will be missed by all of us who loved him. Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd. in North Little Rock on Wednesday, August 27th, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. with funeral services on Thursday, August 28th, 2014 at 9 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
