Bonnie L. Clay, 85, of Adona, Arkansas, passed away August 26, 2014, at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born July 17, 1929 in Casa, Arkansas and was the youngest of eight children of the late John Wesley (Bud) Faulkner and Roxanna Evans Faulkner. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer J. (Jack) Clay, four brothers and three sisters, and a great-grandson, Garrett B. Clay. She is survived by four children, Patty (Mike) Allison of Morrilton, Arkansas, Bobby (Flora) Clay, Gary (Regina) Clay, and Shirley (Jim) Bridgeman all of Adona, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Pamela Sims, Tracy Allison, Cindy Cummins, Bradley Clay, Jennifer Mayfield, Janet Jones, Amanda Young and Cody Bridgeman; three step-grandchildren, Angie King, Michael Hitchcock and Jill Knight; 14 great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, former husband and friend, Roy (Jr.) Tippit of Casa, Arkansas, and a host of other family and friends. Bonnie was of the Baptist faith. For the past 17 years, she was employed by the Oppelo Flea Market where she made a multitude of cherished friends. She had previously worked at Levis, Morrilton Plastics, the Senior Citizens Center in Perryville, and was an Avon representative. She was known for her beautiful yard and flowers and enjoyed sharing with family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2014, at the Harris Chapel with Brother Gene Tanner officiating. Interment will follow at Fowler Cemetery, Adona, Arkansas.
