Heather Danielle Baker

Heather Danielle Baker, 20, of Benton, went to be with the Lord on August 22, 2014. Heather was born in Searcy, Arkansas on November 7, 1993. She was known for her genuine personality, her wit, and her perfect smile. Heather found a way to have fun no matter what she was doing. Heather had a love for shopping, photography, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a way of making everyone she met feel like they were the most important person in the world. She was a graduate of Mt. Vernon-Enola High School class of 2012 and a student at Pulaski Technical College where she was majoring in interior design and accounting. She is survived by her loving parents, Darren and Michele Baker and Sandy and Allen Chance. Also surviving are her brothers; Travis Baker, Coe Baker and his wife Alycia Baker, sister Leslie Baker and two step-sisters, Randi Chance, Vanda and Eric Phillips. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, whom Heather loved dearly, Ashtyn and Haygan Phillips, Kaliegh Coates, Lilly and Kinley Jobe. She was also excited to welcome another nephew, Heath Daniel Baker, in December. Heather leaves behind her loving grandparents. Michael and Jamie Baker; Philip and Janice Stephens; JoAnn Gilstrap; Wayne Wright and great-grandmother Helen Walker along with numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, family and friends that will always cherish her memory. Heather is also survived by her long-time boyfriend, Cody Buchanan, and his family. Her love for Cody was unconditional. Cody was the love of her life and center of her world. Heather was preceded in death by a grandfather; Don Gilstrap; and grandmothers; Wilma Baker and Faye Chance. A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m., on Friday, August 29, 2014 at Grace Church of Bryant.
