Emma Jean Childers-Wisemore

Emma Jean Childers-Wisemore, 80, of Benton passed away on Nov. 28, 2014. She was born on Oct. 13, 1934 to Dora and Herbert Jones. Emma Jean is preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Eddie Joe Wisemore; two sisters and one brother. She is survived by two sons, Duane (Sarah) Childers of Sheridan, Ark. and Curtis (Linda) Childers of Batesville, Ark. Emma Jean also leaves behind three daughters, Bettee Jean Childers-Pacheco of Cabot, Ark., Marcella Childers (Ronnie Mobbs) of Cabot, Ark. and Sharon Duncan of Branson, Mo.; four brothers, William Herbert "Sonny" Jones, Kenneth Jones, Al Hayes and Melvin Hayes and her sister, Wilma Steele. Thirteen grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. A private family visitation was held at Atkinson Funeral Home in Malvern. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
