Ruth Ann Elmore

Ruth A. Elmore, 75, of Cabot passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 26. She was born on Jan. 13, 1939 in Curtis, Ark. to the late Lee Vant and Ella Sue Ball Fletcher. Ruth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was an avid reader. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and taught literacy classes to adults. She is also preceded in death by one sister, Loretta Beirne. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Arel Dean Elmore; children, Steven Elmore and wife, Carolyn, Nancy Elmore and husband, Robert, John Elmore and wife, Caroline; grandchildren, Steven and William Elmore and Andrew Baker and one sister, Anita Wright. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to a charity of your choice.
