Kitty Jean Ruminer

Kitty Jean Ruminer, 80, Cabot, born May 16, 1934, passed away November 29, 2014. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Cabot for over 40 years. Kitty was a respected business owner of "Kitty's Boutique" for 18 years in Cabot, before retiring in 1998. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Lee Evans and Exie Elisabeth King Evans; and sisters, Frances Goforth, Mary Steele, Willie Lee Jones, and Inez Jeffrey. Kitty is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Edgar G. Ruminer of Cabot; children, Darla (Raymond) Thrush and Lonnie Ruminer, both of Cabot, Ark.; grandchildren, Matthew Sharp of Port Orange, Fla., Stephanie (Wade) Stephens of Cabot, Joshua (Heather) Ruminer of Fayetteville, Ark., Caleb Ruminer of Los Angeles, Calif., and Andrew Thrush of Cabot, Ark.; great-grandchildren, Ryan Stephens, Kyle Stephens, and Tyler Stephens, all of Cabot; as well as special friends, Kristin Green, Casey Feldt, Faith Ruminer. Visitation will be 12 noon, Tuesday, December 2 at First Baptist Church in Cabot. Funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
