Frank William Kroetz

Frank William Kroetz, 87, of Hot Springs Village, Ark. died November 28, 2014. Dr. Kroetz was raised in Fort Seneca, Ohio where he met his childhood sweetheart Rose. They graduated from Old Fort High School. After graduating from Heidelberg College in 1949, he obtained a Master's degree in chemical engineering prior to attending medical school at The Ohio State University. His internship and residency in cardiology took Rose and Frank to Galveston, Texas and then to faculty positions at The Ohio State University, the University of Pittsburg, and the University of Iowa. In 1971 they moved to Memphis, Tenn. where he eventually served as the Director of Cardiac Laboratories at Baptist Memorial Hospital for 19 years. He completed his distinguished career in Cardiology with a long-phased retirement as part of Ferguson Medical Group of Sikeston, Mo. from 1990-2001. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Thursday at Caruth Village Funeral Home. Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2014 at the funeral home with Bro. Teddy Frye officiating.
