Gerald Oliver Stutts

Mr. Gerald Oliver Stutts, a farmer, age 90, of Wynne, passed away Wednesday, December 03, 2014 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Stutts and Viola Oliver Stutts; five sisters; one brother; and one grandson. Mr. Stutts was born on July 13, 1924 in Cross County, Arkansas. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Wynne. He was a 32nd Mason, a Rotarian and a Paul Harris Fellow. Gerald served his country in the U. S. Army Air Corp during World War II. Survivors are his wife, Billie Jean Stutts of the home; daughters, Rebecca Chappell and husband Jim of Memphis; Jerre Fisher and husband Roger of Wynne; Debbie Meyer and husband, Stephen of Wynne; son, Brad Stutts and wife Susie of Wynne; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Union Grove Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Wynne. Memorials may be made to Cross County Endowment Foundation (YAC) or First United Methodist Church of Wynne.
