Billy Mack Freeman

Billy Mack Freeman, 73, of Sparkman, died Monday December 8, 2014. He was born June 7, 1941 in Sparkman, Ark. He was an avid outdoorsman, a gospel singer for 42 years and a member of Eagle Mills Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie Mack Freeman and Eva Mae Gordon Freeman; wife, Katie Sue Schee Freeman; one son, John Thomas Freeman; and one sister, Bonnie Mae Hathcoat. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and David Dillard of Holly Springs, Stacey and Herschel Hibbard of Bixby, Okla.; two brothers, Benny Freeman and Philip Freeman both of Sparkman; three sisters, Donna Freeman Gluck of Sparkman, Sara Stiffler of Jacksonville, Nina Fallin of Gurdon; grandchildren, Dewayne and Kattie Dillard of Yukon, Okla., Charla and Bryan Barrett of Foley, Ala., Trae and Madison Hibbard of Glenpool, Okla., Heather and Hayden Hibbard of Bixby, Okla.; great grandchildren, Olivia Barrett of Foley, Ala., Graham Dillard of Yukon, Okla., and Brylee Hibbard of Glenpool, Okla. The family would like to give a special thank you for the wonderful care that was given by Alice Lewis, Ruthie Franks, Dr. Brayden, Ouachita County Hospice, Dr. Rudnicki and staff at UAMS. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Cemetery near Gurdon with Rev. David Dillard and Rev. Chris Morgan officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
