Jeannette Elliff

Jeannette Elliff, 89, of North Little Rock, Arkansas formerly of Dallas, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 7, 2014. She was born in Dallas, Texas on September 13, 1925 to the late Dante and Willie Mae Johnson. Jeannette retired from Western Union and later worked for Jorgensen Steel. She was a member of Apostolic Gospel Church of North Little Rock. After retirement she enjoyed wood carving and square dancing. Jeannette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband David Elliff Sr., three brothers; Thomas, George, and Dante, two sisters; Mary and Billie. Jeannette is survived by her son David Elliff, of Dallas Texas, and daughter, Beverly Moguin, of North Little Rock, one sister, Yvonne Fuller, of Dallas, Texas. Three grandchildren; Monte Elliff, of Houston, Texas, Halli Vancil (Ezra), of Dallas, Texas, Hannah Bishop (Rod), of Terrell, Texas, five great-grandchildren; Owen and Duncan Elliff, Cosette Vancil, Ellis and Clara Bishop, and a very special nephew, Daryl Blackbourne. The family would like to thank caregivers Elsa Cortez and Jessica Estrada and the wonderful employees of Care Link for their love concern for Jeannette and her family. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2014 in the Chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. (501) 224-8300.
