Marie Zanoff Zakrzewski

Marie (Zanoff) Zakrzewski, 82, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014, her 82nd birthday. After beginning her birthday celebrations with her family on earth, she concluded her party with her beloved husband, grandson and the rest of her family in Heaven. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Altar Society and the Lady's Club. Marie was an avid bingo supporter with fellow enthusiast, Sherry Little. She is survived by three sons, Tommy (Terri) Zakrzewski, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Danny (Kathy) Zakrzewski of North Little Rock and Andy Zakrzewski, of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Frances (Mike) Wise, of Sherwood; brother, Frank (Gail) Zanoff, of Fairfield Bay; and seven grandchildren, Amber (Preston) Hall, Matt, Katie and Nick Zakrzewski, Stephanie, Rachael and Brian Wise. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Sylvester Zakrzewski; parents, John and Cecilia Zanoff; daughter, Rose Marie Zakrzewski; grandson, Sam Zakrzewski; three brothers, Tony, Leo and John Zanoff; and three sisters, Helen Valentine, Rose Parkhill and Anne Marsh. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1516 Parker Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, followed by a rosary service at 7 p.m., at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home.
