Minor Iral Hill, age 87, of Morrilton, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 21, 2014. He was born November 11, 1927 in Center Ridge, Arkansas, a son of A.A. Hill and Lillie Mae Williams Hill. Minor was a member of the Overcup United Methodist Church. He served in the United States Navy from 1945-1947 on the USS George in the South Pacific. He worked for Morrilton Auto Supply for 30 years and retired from Crow Burlingame. He served on the board of the Conway County Cattlemen's Association, and Campground and Pleasant Hill Cemeteries. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Bostian Hill of Morrilton; son, Greg Hill (Robin) of St. Louis, Missouri; daughters, Glo Balch ( Dwight) of Vilonia; Gail Dewey (Phil) of Fayetteville; sister, Claudine Waters of Little Rock; twelve grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; as well as many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by, his parents; a son, Gary Hill; brother, Loey Hill; and sister, Cleo Thomason. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 24th at the Harris Chapel with Rev. Von Dell Mooney and Rev. Mitch Burgess officiating. Burial will be at Campground Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Gideon's International or Arkansas Hospice of Conway.
