Betty Ann Foster

Betty Ann Foster, age 50 of North Little Rock, gained her heavenly wings at 4:45 PM on Sunday, December 28, 2014. She was born October 29, 1964 in Prescott, the daughter of the late James Edward and Mary Louise Hays Schoonover. Betty spent her youth in Gurdon, a member of First Baptist Church and graduating from high school before moving to Raleigh, N.C. She returned to North Little Rock Arkansas and married her husband Jeffrey Foster on June 21, 1998. Betty was preceded in death by one brother, Charles "Chopper" Schoonover, one sister, Linda Berland, father and mother in law, William H. and Billie C. Douglas. Survivors are her husband, Jeffrey Foster of North Little Rock, two brothers, James Edward Schoonover and Gary Dean Schoonover both of South Carolina, three sisters, Debby (Jimmy) Powell of Gurdon, Carolyn (Lawrence) Jackson of Arkadelphia and Mary Ann Schoonover of California, a very special niece and nephew, Kevin and Ashley Powell, nephews, Mathew, Denzel and Lorenzo, sisters-in-law, Vickie Bussy, Brenda Collett, Joyce Hale and Karla Jahangir. Betty never had children other than the four legged furry kind, along with her family and friends that have met her in heaven. Betty was greated at the rainbow bridge by her fur children, Brittany, Billie, Duke, Shadow, Little Girl, Christy and Snitty Kitty. She leaves behind her fur children, Bonita, Isabel, Ozzy, Punkin, Ali, Patches, Isabel and Molly. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Rose Hedge Cemetery with Bro. Burl Gills officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society of America or Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
