Lawrence Eugene Benton

Lawrence Eugene Benton, age 68 of Bellville, crossed into heaven on December 25, 2014 in Danville, Ark. Lawrence was born December 16, 1946 in Fort Dodge, Iowa a son to the late Fred and Marcella Benton. Lawrence worked as a truck driver most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Marcella Benton, and daughter Cynthia Arterburn. Lawrence is survived by wife, Paulette Benton of Bellville, son: William Benton of White Hall, two daughters: Dianna Sundine, and Christina and husband Terry Howsley all of Vilonia; brother: Vernon and wife Judy Benton of Fort Dodge, Iowa; two sisters: Donna Day of Dayton, Iowa; and Deloris and husband Curt Aldrich of Ward, Ark.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Graveside Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Mt. Springs, Cemetery off Joe Ray Road in Bellville, Ark.
