Betty was born Nov. 3, 1932 in Wichita Falls to Leonard and Bonnie (Medlin) Peterson. She met Ed (Sonny) as he was known while he was stationed at SAFB and they married in 1950. They moved to Little Rock, Ark. and lived a short time with his parents. Ed went to work for Fed Ex. where he was number 90 and they moved to Memphis. While Ed was with Fed Ex. they relocated to Keller, Texas for a short time but he wasn't happy there so they went back to Memphis until his retirement. Betty was a homemaker while Ed worked and she had quite the home. She loved her yard and took care of her beautiful flowers. When Ed died in 1990 Betty came back to Wichita Falls, Texas. She loved her two dogs like they were her children and stayed devoted to them until their death. Then she moved to Carrollton to be closer to her only son Ed III. Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ed Jr., (Sonny); seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Ed III.; numerous nieces and nephews; and her very special friend, Patsy Martinez.
