Donia "Moma" Camp, 81, passed from this life to her heavenly home on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. She was born January 22, 1933 to George and Viola (Hill) Lemons of Bauxite. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clay Camp, Jr.; her son, Burl C. Camp, Sr.; a brother, Winfred Lemons, and three sisters, Helen Hendrix, Joyce Gilmore, and Loyce Lemons. She is survived by daughters, Guylan "Kay" Camp and Tonia R. Williams (Ricky) of Benton; two grandchildren, Burl Camp, Jr. and Violet Camp, and great grandchildren, Kymber, Amber, and Chase Hurt, Hannah and Savannah McClerkin, and Sarah and Emma Williams. "Moma" Camp, as she was known by many patrons of Bullock's Market in Benton for 27-plus years, always served her special love to her customers. . .with heartfelt names she'd welcome her friends: "Hi, Hun!", "Sugar, can I help you?", "Comeback, Hun." (Just to name a few). Serving as pallbearers are Burl Camp Jr., Dustin Hendrix, Steven Lemons, Danny Edmonson, Harold Edmonson, Don Huskey, and Keith Camp. My Boys", as she called them (Benton City Workers she served meals to while working at Bullock's) are serving as honorary pallbearers. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2014 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Bishop O.D. Crabtree and Rev. Burrell Crabtree officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon, February 9th at the funeral home. The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to her doctors, nurses, and hospice staff, and to our church family, and other family and friends for their prayers, and for everyones' love and kindness.
